50th Grammy Awards Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 - 12:27 a.m. John and I were pretty much glued to the Grammy broadcast last night... Most Surreal Grammy Moment: Brad Paisley, surrounded by about a dozen flashing neon ticks. As in the bugs. I guess you had to be there. --- Best Grammy Electronics -- Kanye West's jacket. --- Classiest Babe Kid Rock Has Been Seen With In The Last Two Decades Or So -- Keely Smith. --- I love it love it love it -- Amy Winehouse won in all of the categories but one in which she was nominated. Electrifying performance. I was in tears. I want her to keep living, and to thrive. --- Two people I thought I was tired of listening to sang something together last night and I've changed my mind. Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli. They have very complementary voices to one another. --- I also saw two of the most prefectly preserved people on the planet -- Tina Turner and Little Richard. She's going to be 69 and he's going to be 76. They could both easily pass for thirty years younger. --- Those are only a few impressions; I'm looking forward to the various fashion analysis programs that will probably happen later today. --- That's it. Have a good Monday! ---
