Torture & Q&A Friday, Mar. 07, 2008 - 12:43 a.m. Oh, look! Andrew is continuing to devise new ways of torturing his paying customers. Here's what he's written in the DiaryLand's news section:
Sorry, the "recent public entries" list wasn't working correctly for the past few days, and some people were not being included who should have, so I have fixed that. Also I think some passworded diaries are getting in there - the system THINKS they are public because they have filled out their profiles, but of course they are not, so I am going to fix that now. In the meantime, yeah, anyone who updates will now be on that list. I am still going through the numerous replies to the design poll thing, and will have a solution on that shortly. I am pretty sure I'll be able to make everyone happy on that. Oh also gold members banners: Yes they are gone for now, I was going to re-integrate them, but then the whole issue of the design came up. Right now I am waiting to solve that, but if people who use the banners a lot want to let me know if they mind me just putting them at the bottom of pages for now, that'd be cool to know, I may just do that for now. In the longer term, basically we plan to switch from banners to boxes, which will be roughly the same size in pixels, but a different shape and will go on the side instead of the top. Feedback me on that yo! Well, gee. I still strenuously object to the 'recent entries' and 'here's who's online' boxes right there on the main splash page. I'm also a Supergold member who has created dozens of one of a kind horizontal banners, and I have absolutely no intention of accepting any decision about changing the banner dimension and location without being asked for feedback. I think this is a terrible idea. I think it's not right to arbitrarily change the size of them. If it's not broken, don't break it. Christ. --- Okay, here's the next block of questions:
32. What is/was your high school's mascot? 33. Last person you spoke to from high school? 34. Last time you used hand sanitizer? 35. Would you like to learn to play the drums? 36. What color are the blinds in your living room? 38. Last thing you read in the newspaper? 39. What was the last pageant you attended? 40. Where is the last place you bought pizza from? More of these as I figure em out. --- That's it. Have a good Friday! ---
