Only Yaz & Friday Five

Saturday, Mar. 08, 2008 - 12:42 a.m.

JESUS CHRIST ON A POGO STICK!

The Yaz concert tickets range from $75 to $40!

This means the most shitful seats are at least $45 goddamn dollars with service fees. I don't THINK so.

I am probably the most profoundly affected and greateful Yaz fan on the planet, as their song "Only You" was what inspired me to go out and get my first electronic keyboard and develop my alto voice into a real working instrument in and of itself; I owe every single bit of my musical to that song and those performers.

But I ain't paying that price to watch them through binoculars.

Sad. But I have limits.

---

Just so you guys will have a thumbnail, here's the haps, primary wise:

BARACK OBAMA: 1,569
Delegates won on 4 March: 183
States won: 24

HILLARY CLINTON: 1,462
Delegates won on 4 March: 186
States won: 16

In order to secure the nomination, Hillary must win twelve states by a margin of 23% of the voters.

If this does not happen, Barack Obama will by default, be the nominee.

---

Here's a Friday Five:

What song would you sing to your newborn child?

Why, I'd sing my snowflake a Leonard Cohen song called "The Future". Gotta be honest with the little snip about our state of existence, after all.

How do you think animals think?

With their brains... I think.

As a child, did you have a dream to make a difference in the world? Can you describe your dream?

Nope. All I wanted to do was survive public education.

Do you believe in God/a Higher Being?

I believe in Deep Thought.

Do you believe in aliens?

There are over twenty million of them in the USA; of COURSE I do. You have to elbow em out of the road in some places!

There ya go. Link to the left, yadda yadda.

Okay, done. Have a good Saturday.

And happy anniversary to Jamie and Richard, who have been together for a full year today.
