Afterglow Of Smug Thursday, Mar. 13, 2008 - 12:02 a.m. I keep looking at the Eliot Spitzer situation and thinking about that pivotal scene in the book and movie The Dead Zone in which the psychic Johnny Smith touches Greg Stillson and is no longer having visions of Stillson becoming President and starting a nuclear war. If you haven't read The Dead Zone yet, then whoops! I ruined it for ya! --- And speaking of New York Democrats... over here, courtesy of FARK, Instapundit and The Daily KoS, is the best one-liner I have ever seen about Hillary: is like saying Yoko Ono was a Beatle. This beautiful little gem was posted by Jason over in the aformentioned Daily KoS thread, wherein later he says to anonymize, personalize, and make it our own. Which is a lovely thing to do in this litigious day and age, but I try and give credit where credit can be gleaned and included. Thank you, Jason! And to my readership -- pass it on. --- Not a long post today; later this afternoon I get to go and do, and when I post tomorrow I'll share what I've gone and done. Have a good Thursday! ---
