Ringer Sunday, Mar. 16, 2008 - 12:50 a.m. Yesterday, John and I went out on Saturday afternoon and managed to drive between the raindrops. The clouds were really pretty, and of course, I didn't bring the camera. --- Folks, take a look at this story here. Synopsis: This guy claims he bought an engagement ring for his gal worth around twelve thousand dollars, but that he had it placed in a helium gift balloon, and that a very strong gust of wind blew it out of his hand and that it's gone now. And he also says his girlfriend isn't talking to him anymore until he gets her another engagement ring. I call bullshit on this one. Between you and me and the walls, I think he did something stupid with twelve thousand dollars and invented a really stupid cover story. I'll take it back when the ring is recovered or when the gift shop confirms that one of their employees did place a ring in a balloon. --- Not a big post today, kids. While the rain eases, we're getting stuff done. Have a good Sunday! ---
