Frank And Ollie Sunday, Apr. 27, 2008 - 12:04 a.m. John and I stayed in on Saturday night and watched Frank And Ollie, the documentary about the last two of Disney's Nine Old Men. Ollie Johnston passed away just about two weeks or so ago, so we thought this would be a nice way to remember him. --- Geez, sometimes the older ideas are the best. I actually want to go and see this show! --- Small victories here and there are the reason I wake up every day. For instance -- our iPod Shuffles support signal-splitters! Whee! --- We're almost to the bottom of the pile on the futon, but when there's two reclining chairs and a big tv screen and a really good DVD player and a really good DVD library? Forget about timeliness. --- I was worried about Guillermo Del Toro being picked to direct The Hobbit, but now I see where Peter Jackson is the film's executive director. And so I'm not worried nearly as much about how it might turn out. --- Not a lot else to report today. Have a good Sunday. ---
