Pastor Disaster

Wednesday, Apr. 30, 2008 - 12:41 a.m.

Barack Obama had to call yet another press conference and once again clarify that he's distanced himself from Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

How many more times is Barack Obama going to have to address the remarks of this asshole?

And who is making sure Reverend Wright keeps finding his way to the spotlight?

I'll bet you dimes to donuts that if you follow the money, you'll find somebody from another candidate's camp making sure Wright continues to be a media darling.

My alleriges were more hellish than usual on Tuesday, so after I told John how icky I felt, dinner ended up being Round Table Pizza.

Pizza is never wrong.

And the during-dinner movie was the movie I mentioned yesterday, A Big Hand For The Little Lady. John and I thought it was a good clean print, with what sounds like a really nice digitally remastered soundtrack -- but it has no extras, and no captions except for the subtitles that actually come with the DVD. But that's okay, because those usually tend to look better than the white text in the black boxes anyway.

Well, hey, thanks to everybody who went and looked at the link and was able to help Art.

Later this morning, Rosie will start driving from the bottom of Arizona to the top of Utah and back, to retrieve Zipper.

Good luck, Rosie! We are all pulling for you and wishing you clear skies and safe roads.

Not a lot else to report. The Angels won last night, 2-0 over Oakland.

Rumor has it that Old Buddy Dave is going to be at tonight's game, sitting fairly close to the press box so he'll have an excellent view.

I'll tell you if I spot him!

---

Okay, that's it. Have a good Wednesday!
