Memes & Misc Thursday, May. 08, 2008 - 1:10 a.m. Amy Winehouse was arrested on suspicion of drug possession. Gee, you could have knocked me over with a feather with that news! --- Hey you know what? I just discovered that you can buy replacement earbuds on eBay. By earbuds I mean those little round nipply looking things that make a pair of earphones stay in your ears a little bit better and sort of act as a parabola for the sound. I've been known to call them 'boomsuckers' when I can't think of their real name. Anyway, John was using his on the way to work one morning, and a kid shoved past him and jostled his earphones loose, and one of the buds went *ptoink* and disappeared into the melee as they were leaving the bus. I still marvel at what's for sale on eBay. That probably meant the square root of doodly drool to y'all, but I was impressed, so thanks for letting me share. --- John loves his iPod. We spend part of the evening programming his device for the next day, and it's become a creative part of the evening schedule. --- I found a couple of cute memes that were posted earlier in the week, courtesy of the Memes list over there on the left...
