Peeling Monday, Jun. 02, 2008 - 12:13 a.m. I was so sad to hear about the set fire at Universal Studios; last May, I saw Keane in the park there with my mom's friend Marion. The parts of the park we explored before the concert began were alluring and pleasant. --- My sense of taste is returning. I'm still unable to taste salt very much, but everything else has come back, and there are enough savory and sweet variations to substitute for the salt experience. I'm hoping I'll eventually be able to taste everything again. You just have no idea how much one of your senses means to you until there is a threat of loss. --- John has taken today off, for some maintenance. He's getting a tooth fixed this morning, and his chiropractic treatment earlier in the day. Last night, he flipped channels and proclaimed late Sunday night programming akin to 'vomit on a plate'. And I have no counterargument to offer. --- As for me? Still peeling. A lot. My dark green recliner probably looks like a flocked Christmas tree. I haven't dared turn the lights up and get a good look yet. --- Not a long post, kids. Have a nice Monday. ---
