Ides & Father's Day 2008 Sunday, Jun. 15, 2008 - 12:55 a.m. Hey, for those who are dads or father figures, Happy Father's Day. If you have never done so before, please mouse over to the starfish on the left, and click, to see something I wrote about my own dad a few years ago. --- Sigh. Tim Russert. If it's Sunday... well, from now on, I guess it will just be Sunday. --- Last night dinner was basic and fun. John and I had hot dogs, and barbecue Pringles. Admittedly not highly nutritious, but ever so nice to the palate and the psyche. --- Apparently yesterday, Tiger Woods had one of the best back nines of his career. And of course, this is the year I am not paying any attention to the US Open. I missed two eagles. Ohhhhh Fudge. Only I don't want to say Fudge. However, here it is in the wee hours on ESPN, so I'm tossing a tape in there to capture every sparkly moment. --- For those of us who no longer have fathers on the face of the planet, I hope you'll take a moment and track down a father figure and tell them what they mean to you today. --- That's it. Have a good Sunday. ---
