Quest For The Fire Orb Saturday, Jul. 19, 2008 - 1:40 a.m. Friday, when John got home from work, he and I got in the car and headed down the peninsula in search of sunshine. We finally found some in Woodside. The fog rolling back from the foothills is always so beautiful. Additionally, I saw two stands of deer. The Fred Flinstone house, however, which until recently has always been painted in pale colors ranging from beige to guano, has essentially been ruined, having now been redecorated in a color of orangey red that does not exist in nature, and now looks like what happens if you ever give canned chili to a cat. All in all, a pleasant little drive. --- Friday Five --

Do you wear any jewelery? Yes, street muggers, but it's all silver. I wear my wedding band, I wear my Claddagh ring, and I wear my pentacle. I apply additional jewelry as the occasion warrants. What do you have too much of? Old magazines. Nail polish that's the incorrect color. Cardboard boxes. Who is a fool? Everybody plays the fool. No exceptions to the rule. Hey hey hey. It may be factual, may be cruel. But everybody plays the fool. What's your nickname? Some people call me Brinners, John calls me PuddinHead, and Old Buddy Dave calls me Boo. There was a guy I went to school with named Tony Torres, who always used to call me Brinderminner Landerminner when my last name was Landerman, and I thought about him for the nine months that I was married to Michael Winderman, because my name was then Brin Landerman Winderman. Link is not to the left, it's here. --- All right, there you go. Have a nice Saturday. ---
