I know I'm a day early, but here's a Friday Five I thought was interesting...

If you could change one life-changing event in the life of someone important to you, would you?
Yes I certainly would. There's something going on right now with somebody I care for, that's breaking my heart, but I'm not at liberty to discuss details. I am hopeful, though, that the changes I would wish upon the situation might actually come to pass, so digits juxtaposed. :-)

Which do you think is easier to do, being friends for many years, or being life partners for many years?
What's the difference?

Have you ever walked away from someone you considered a friend?
Here's a bulletin for you: If you get treated poorly by somebody? Get the fuck away from them, and stay gone. That's allowed.

If you had to choose between telling the truth and hurting a friend or lying and making them happy, which would you choose?
Well, I'm not into full disclosure of something needlessly hurtful, or irrelevent to a given situation. By The Way, I Got Drunk And Slept With Your Ex Fiancee MumbleFrumble Years Ago is ALWAYS a non-sequitur. Confession is good for the soul ONLY if all parties involved in whatever the issue is will benefit from the knowledge. I guess that makes me a terrible person, to choose a less-than-true thing to say if a bad situation will be avoided, but so be it.

I'm going to my grave with some mighty fine secrets, I tell you whut.

Which would you rather hear--the truth which will hurt, or the comforting lie?
I really don't give a shit either way, because I always find out who has lied to me.
