Still Yule Saturday, Jan. 03, 2009 - 1:05 a.m. Late Friday night, I had a lovely and very restorative chat with Jamie Lord, aka The Best Friend I've Never Met. Our lives cross whenever they can, and it's always so nice when that happens. I had something of an epiphany the other day about various things related to my writing here, and he helped me to clarify a few points. Thanks, Jamie. :-) --- John went to the chiropractor and got back just fine; no locked car doors for him to contend with. --- Old Buddy Dave scored a DVD for me when he went to Disneyland on Friday night -- the uncut fully restored widescreen version of The Happiest Millionaire! There were four cuts available through the various release incarnations, but this is the full version once again. Not only does it have Sherman Brothers songs, but it also has the movie debuts of John Davidson *and* Lesley Ann Warren. Thanks for remembering that I liked that movie, OBD! --- In other visual media news, I believe I may have spotted Senta Moses on Friday's episode of General Hospital. Those stupid goddamned squashed credits are horrifying to try and read. I'm still investigating this. It *looks* like her. We shall see. Oh, wait... here we go! That WAS her! She's playing a character called "Winnifred Leeds". Wow, Christmas just keeps happening for me. Senta Moses plus General Hospital. Happy Sigh. --- Okay, there ya go. Have a good Saturday. ---
