Glasses & Big Box Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009 - 3:47 a.m. My reading glasses STILL are not ready! First they said Friday, then with no telephone call, I'm assuming they will be ready on Monday. John's prescription was for reading glasses more complicated than mine: multi-distance bifocals. His was ready on Wednesday the 7th. Mine didn't pass inspection. Are these MAGIC GLASSES? Will they behave differently than all other pairs of glasses in the entire reading-glasses WORLD? They better have death lasers and x-ray vision installed is alls I gots ta say. They're just a pair of reading glasses. They shouldn't have stymied the manufacturers for this length of time. ---- John and I went to Best Buy yesterday and he picked out a super expensivre fancy schmancy set of headphones that had absolutely no bass registration whatsoever. So he went back and exchanged them for something a third of the price and they smooshed the difference back onto the credit card. All in all, fairly painless, so if you have to deal with a Big Box Electronic store, I think we can recommend Best Buy. --- Not a long post. Have a good Sunday! ---
