Aligned Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009 - 12:46 a.m. I just finished printing out something under a deadline. The printer needed a re-alignment test and a cleaning -- three times! thank you -- but the thing cranked up and did what I wanted it to do, eventually. After it finished its cleaning, and printing out test pages, and cleaning again, and printing out aligning patches with overlaps and cleaning again -- the color tanks were too empty to print the test page, so I had to change all of the tanks and start the cleaning and aligning bullshit all over again, but hell's BELLS, it finally started behaving itself right around midnight. Whew. This is one of the very few printers left out there that had software for OSX, which is what I use on my G4, and System 9.2, which is what John uses on his G4. So we're very glad things are still working. --- I very seldom grab a really nifty image off of the Internet and park it over here to share with the gang, but I'm doing it today. This is a picture of Levar Burton, who is displaying one of the most fascinating tattoos I have seen in a very long time. Cool, huh? If you tilt your head to the right, you see the word 'levar' and... well.. you'll figure out the rest. :-) --- John's going back to work today; his leg still smarts, but at least now he can step in and out of the bathtub with a little more ease. We'll see how he feels after being at the office. Honey, if you're reading this during a break, please stretch when you're done! --- All right, that's it. Have a good Wednesday. ---
