Bird Strike & Birthday Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 - 12:47 a.m. I had no idea that reading glasses could get so nasty just sitting on a person's face. Dust, skin flakes, etc. ... either that, or my eyeballs are outgassing. --- If you did as FARK suggested and played the 'Bird Strike' drinking game yesterday, your hair hurts today. I guess lots of people got tired of that phrase. Well, I can't imagine how many pant-loads were experienced by the native eyewitnesses as they were watching the plane land in the Hudson River yesterday. Although, as a result, we have a new concept of what a hero looks like. He lives about an hour away from me, in Danville. Go, Sully, go Sully, go Sully... --- And yesterday was the President's traditional farewell speech. The mention of this showed up at around minute sixteen during the local newscasts. --- Finally -- Happy birthday to my husband John. Among others, you share your birthday with AJ Foyt, Ronnie Milsap, and Doker Lore. Honey? Let me know when you want your spanking. --- That's it. Have a good Friday. ---
