Sunday Seven Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 - 1:36 a.m. I found a meme from Sunday Seven, which is a new place I haven't been before; this question looked interesting, so here it is, and here are my answers: Name seven memorable sounds from popular culture that you always recognize. 1. The startup chime in Mac OSX. It's also the startup sound of Wall E. 2. The five notes from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Re, Mi, Do, Do, So. 3. The 'Yahh HOOOOO hoo' sound that I finally turned off in Yahoo Messenger. 4. The sound of a cola can opening up. 5. The Tonight Show theme during the Johnny Carson era. Sigh... 6. The theme from Jaws. 7. The T Mobile chime. Obviously a few of these betray my age. If you want, you can try and duplicate this over in your own writing space. --- All I did yesterday was make John a Valentine's Day Card and sleep, but I think he liked it. --- Nothing else of note, kids, except to say happy one hundredth birthday to Miep Gies. Have a good Sunday. ---
