Handbook & Jam Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 - 12:26 a.m. John hasn't written to Motel 6 corporate yet, but I'm sure they will respond when he does. Our friend Toren pointed out the important factor that they are all franchises, but holy christ, there must surely be a handbook that's required reading or something. This guy didn't crack the book, believe me. Ick. --- I didn't do anything yesterday but decompress more. I ran into Alan, a friend of mine from a million years ago on Facebook; I sang in his band for a bit right after I got out of the hospital, and I went out with his older brother Mike for a few months. Then Mike was transferred to the east coast and that was that. He and I got on with life -- and somehow I ended up dating Alan a couple of times. It was nice. Anyway, Alan still works on music, and has ended up living about 45 minutes from here. Negotiations are underway to maybe have a jam session of some sort before too much time elapses. I've seen him on YouTube, and I gotta say, I think his voice held up better than mine has!... We'll see how things go. --- Not much else to write about, dears. Have a good Wednesday. ---
