RIP Small World Cherry Monday, Apr. 06, 2009 - 1:02 a.m. Yesterday, Sunday night, was my first night at Disneyland for this trip. This is okay with me, because I'd rather have an awake Dave and I think he'd prefer an awake Brin with whom to traipse through the park. We only went to Disneyland, but that's okay. --- Last night, I did something for the first time in my life at Disneyland. I went through the Small World ride! I'd never seen it before, only heard rumors of its insipidness, and figured, well, I should lay eyes on it at least once before I say anything either way. And it turned out to be ...really nice. Mind you, I do pity anybody and everybody for whom this song has become an exhaustive earworm, but I gotta say, it really is a sweet ride. Having only seen it once, and fully functional, that is. --- Not much else to report. Allegedly, today, John is going to head to a Starbucks from work and order himself a Coffee Light Frappucino Double Blended. This wonderful bit of evil caffeinated goodness was introduced to me by Alan Brownlee, who ordered one to fortify himself for a drive to San Francisco to drop me off. He offered me a sip -- and he very nearly didn't get his drink back. For those of you hardy souls out there who remember the Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch ice cream? This stuff tastes like that stuff. Again, that's a Coffee Light Frappucino, Double Blended. You're welcome. --- Okay, that's it. Have a good Monday. ---
