Vet Bill Stuff

Thursday, Apr. 23, 2009 - 12:44 a.m.

If you want to see the homework regarding the numbers I'm gonna quote here, that's fine.

I had originally planned to scan this stuff and upload it for viewing here on Diaryland, but the vet bill is something like five or six pages long.

Here is what I understand the bills to be showing:

A total of $2614.62 of services were performed on Laila Cat.

Surgery, spay, chip, meds, xrays -- the whole enchilada.

The vet gave Dave a discount of $300.00 for Dave being a good Samaritan who rescued a stray.

Along with the $880.00 in your donations to PayPal --

$2614.62
$1180.00 (minus the vet discount plus the donations)
______

$1434.62 is the outstanding balance so far.

This doesn't cover the followup visits for the stitch removal and cast change.

Thank you VERY much to everybody who has donated; the amount is a huge help, and Dave and I are extremely grateful.

Other: The next practice for the band has been rescheduled for the first weekend of May, I think, but that's okay, because it gives me a chance to learn my lyrics and hopefully practice enough to have a couple of bunnies ready to pull out of my sleeve the next time we convene.

Should be fun!

---

The weather has moderated to the point where I need the electric blanket again at night. Two days ago, it was 90.

And to think, I've actually complained out loud that San Francisco never has any weather in its weather.

Meh.

---

That's it. Have a good Thursday.
