Remember Thursday, Jun. 04, 2009 - 1:17 a.m. Courage is knowing you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do. --- I got to talk to Alan yesterday on his way home from the interview; he says he thinks it went very well. Now, today, everybody wish Art well because he's getting a tryout in a restaurant kitchen, and it might lead to a regular job. --- There were also some severe lightning and thunderstorms east of here. I listen to KSTE 650 out of the Sacramento area in the afternoon, and the strikes were causing so much static on the radio that I gave up trying to hear it and switched over to iTunes. KOVR 13, a TV station in Sacramento, has a really good slide show of still photos of lightning on their website. --- That's it. Have a good Thursday. ---
