Kittehs & Kern Thursday, Jul. 02, 2009 - 12:11 a.m. Yesterday, I took some pictures of the kittehs, so here's my two faves... Here's Solange: And here's Laila, laughing at what Old Buddy Dave's box fan has been doing to my hair: Her fur has mostly grown back. That's right. No more shaved pussy. --- Also, I had the pleasure of speaking to Dave Kern yesterday, the recently semi-retired bass player of the Bob Chance band; he sounds like he's enjoying his time off. He asked me about a half dozen thoroughly amazing questions about how my bass playing was progressing, and gave me about six months worth of valuable advice in the space of a seven minute phone call. I am borrowing a bass from him, and before I go back home, I am going to take a lot of pictures of it. --- A passing of note: Mollie Sugden has died at age 86. She was one of my favorite female comedians -- and I am unanimous in that. --- That's pretty much it. Have a good Thursday. ---
