Well. Found out what was causing the camera to have the collywobbles the other night at the park.

The little servo thingie that controls the zoom lens gets really lazy when the rechargeable batteries lose their juice.

So instead of fireworks Sunday night, I accidentally took images of tree leaves, lost balloons, and people's pores.

Lesson: Never take a camera to Disneyland that is smarter than you are.

Ladies and gentleman, if everything I'm hearing turns out to be true, I am about to be trapped in a gigantic news vortex.

Starting at around noon, there will be wall to wall Michael Jackson memorial coverage on every station -- television AND radio.

North Korea could invade Hawaii today, and nobody in Southern California would be aware of it until Thursday.

It's just an entertainer, it's not the Pope.

Sigh.
