Warranty Wed Wednesday, Jul. 08, 2009 - 10:17 a.m. Well, kids, it turns out the batteries were not the problem. The damn camera is actually broken. I'll investigate the warranty coverage when I get back to San Francisco, but so far, things do not look all that great. An out of warranty repair of a servo motor deep in the guts of a camera seems to cost about as much as a replacement camera will, so I called John and got permission to find another camera and get it AND AN EXTENDED WARRANTY while I'm down here. Meh. --- Yesterday's media blitz was alternatively boring and horrifying. I never saw a gold-plated casket before, that's for sure. --- Also, wow, kudos to Geraldo Rivera. I never thought I'd ever say that about him ever, but there it is. --- Not much else to report. Old Buddy Dave and I are heading to the park tonight after he's done with work. That's it. Have a good Wednesday. ---
