Band Neepery Tuesday, Jul. 21, 2009 - 1:08 a.m. Whew. There's a bridge in the middle of that Doobie Brothers song "China Grove" that has nearly been my undoing. Until tonight. I *mastered* it at LONG last. Now, if Mike cannot make it to Sunday's band rehearsal, at least somebody can play the bass line so we can practice the song as intactly as possible even though we do not have a drummer yet. --- Lots of nice NASA and Apollo 11 stuff yesterday. Here in San Francisco, we found extensive NASA coverage on digital channel 32-4. --- And for whatever this is worth, the band is still looking for a drummer. It would be nice if we could find a temp to work with this Sunday. Alan and Todd each know how to drum, so there are temporary alternatives at hand, but we'd like a drummer who just drums. Sigh. Also who lives within reasonable distance of Vacaville. (Sorry, Old Buddy Dave...) --- That's it. Have a good Tuesday. ---
