Frame By Frame Friday, Jul. 24, 2009 - 12:13 a.m. Yesterday, on KFOG's Ten At Ten, I heard one of King Crimson's songs for the first time. It's called 'Frame By Frame' and is on their 'Discipline' CD. And how annoying that it isn't available through the iTunes store. This unfulfilled but pulsating lust for instant gratification could have earned Robert Fripp a buck last night. As Old Buddy Dave says, dem's da berries. --- I can hardly believe what I'm writing here. Get this, yo: Drag Princess Abby is going to be in San Francisco this weekend. Based solely on her writing and a number of excellent chats, she and I seem to have the same sensibilities. My prediction is that this get-together will in some ways be legendary. In my experience, two women who can get mad at the same things will usually get along. --- Band stuff: I gave up and asked that we NOT try and do Don't Dream It's Over. Kevin knew how to play it, but nobody else is versed enough to do it. But it was fun to try. --- Cool Ranch Doritos taste really good if you also eat something chocolate. Not sure why. --- That's it. Have a good Friday. ---
