Exit Stage Left Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 - 12:55 a.m. Today, Saturday, is World Ostomy Day. I have an ostomy. If I hadn't gotten this surgery, I would have been dead now for around twenty six and a half years. --- Yesterday morning around ten, an earworm jumped into my head and stayed there until I got out of bed, found my way to iTunes, and had to get it. Everything is okay now; I have a feeling folks like me are the ones who are the bread and butter of that company. --- Happy birthday to Ronn Owens, my favorite radio entertainer. --- I've been noticing my white streak. It's getting more pronounced. But only if I pull my hair back off my face. The Magneto Cruella Malamute thing might work for some, but I'm not sure I'm one of them at the moment. --- Twenty years ago today, I was married, and in Idaho. We were settling in to watch the Bay Bridge World Series on a dish backfeed so we could see the production instead of the commercials. And frighteningly, we got more than we bargained for. To this day, I am lovingly and utterly impressed with the staff of KGO ABC 7, whose local feed became the replacement for the cancelled game. --- Sorry such a short post. I'm doing music stuff on Sunday and I'm traveling on Tuesday, so I'll be hitting the ground running today and Monday with laundry and debris consolidation. But I have a pack list, and it's down to a science at this point, so this is enough time to get things done. --- That's it. Have a good Saturday. ---
