Alan's Birthday Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 - 1:00 a.m. Today is October 29th. It's the birthday of my bandmate and song partner and old and dear friend, Alan Brownlee. Have a good one, and I'm so glad we are back in touch. --- Yesterday, Laila The Wonder Cat shoved the VCR off of the bedroom television and it made such a huge noise that I screeched and woke Dave up -- and the long story short is that we couldn't go back to sleep. So we went to the River Belle. And we also did the Haunted Mansion. --- Meanwhile, some four hundred miles away from here, the Bay Bridge is still closed. I'll be grateful if they can get it open again by Friday, when I fly home, but if not, John's all set to take the San Mateo Bridge over to get me. --- Sorry not a long post. Have a good Thursday. ---
