Sugar Crash 2009 Sunday, Nov. 01, 2009 - 12:19 a.m. Halloween was quiet here. John and I treated ourselves to our traditional viewing choices of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the Halloween episode of My So-Called Life. Upon reflection, I'm realizing that this is the first time I've spent Halloween at home since 2004. It was pretty nice, although our favorite Halloween party experience is still 2005, when we went to Cero's as beatniks. --- Later this morning, I will be heading to Vacaville by way of Vallejo to get back to making music. I played my bass for the first time in ten days late at night on the 30th, and although I still had my chops, my fingers are tender. However, I think I'll be up to speed by the time the day is over, and it will be good to see Alan & the rest of the Brownlees again. --- Not a long post. I get to wake up and hit the ground running, so off I go. Have a good Sunday, and I hope not too many people are sugar-crashed today. ---
