That'll Be One Girl

I got a bug in my ear last night and looked up the Captain & Tenille.

They're still married.

So, I guess what they said was correct.

This story crossed the wires and made me see red:

WACO, Texas � Authorities say a Texas woman lied about having breast cancer and spent $10,000 raised at a benefit to have her breasts enlarged. McLennan County sheriff's investigator James Pack says in court records that 24-year-old Trista Joy Lathern shaved her head to look like a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy.

Pack says Lathern wanted breast implants to try to save her seven-month marriage.

The Waco Tribune-Herald reports that Lathern is charged with theft by deception. Sheriff's officials and Lathern's attorney didn't immediately return phone calls from The Associated Press.

As my regular readers know, my mother died of breast cancer in 1995.

I think it would be entirely appropriate to allow this so-called woman to keep the money she raised and drop all charges in exchange for undergoing the removal of one breast.

Obviously this won't actually be an option for the so-called woman.

I'll fix this, though, as soon as I'm king.

I was flipping through the channels last night and found the greatest double-bill in syndication history.

Channel 36 in San Jose plays Cops at 12:30 am, and then Reno 911! at 1:00 am.
