Fire Orange Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009 - 12:03 a.m. John and I had an excellent dinner last night. I made pot stickers and orange chicken, and then I glugged an awful lot of szechuan sauce into the orange chicken Doing so nearly set us on fire. But wow, it was delicious. --- Big D happened to mention something he was doing at work; he is a computer graphics specialist. But the funny way he put it made me pause. He spent Friday and Monday rendering horses! --- Music: I *think* I just finished writing my first solo for one of the songs Alan is doing. Well, that Alan and I are doing. It wasn't on guitar, either. It used a Hammond organ-ish synth sound. Hope it makes it into the final version of the song. So before I fired up my keyboard, I charged the ol creative batteries by listening to Jimmy Smith for awhile. I defy anybody not to nod their head to 'Funky Broadway'. --- Kind of a quiet day today. That's pretty much it. Have a good Tuesday. ---
