Doc & Holiday Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 - 1:48 a.m. John's vacation is definitely underway. He went out and about today to find a wreath for the front door, and found a sprig that's gorgeous and making the whole apartment smell like Christmas. The mail brought us a bunch of wonderful surprises in the mail, including, at long last, a copy of Sally And Saint Anne on DVD. We watched that, and one of the extras that the DVD dealer threw in was the Alice In Wonderland movie featuring Cary Grant as the Mock Turtle. We'll tackle that one in the new year. --- I had a really good time over at this site. It's a list of media errors from 2009. --- Once in awhile, I go dig around in the online version of my hometown newspaper just to see what's what. Sometimes I see children of people I went to school with getting married, which is a corker. But the most recent thing that's happened is that I've outlived yet another of my doctors. No offense meant to the surviving family members, but there's something kind of comforting about that. --- It's been a quiet day here so that's it. Have a good Tuesday. ---
