Uproariously Friday, May. 14, 2010 - 12:51 a.m. My friend Portnoy from the BBS days has turned out to be an artist. He did that painting to go with the poem. The only other artist who has ever made me cry has been Kandinsky, and I'm only turned on by his geometrics. Something I had wondered for awhile was how those kids I fed and watered in Chico turned out, and here's another one who has done well. Brilliant, Dan. So grateful that you showed me this. --- Since I had my epiphany over the damned weekend and I realized that I'll be playing bass anyway no matter who with, John's now given me permission to stash gear at Old Buddy Dave's so I can practice there. And Dave's said sure. Thanks you guys. John, wow, this is lovely of you! I will appreciate the extra practice time. And as for actual band work with Alan? I have so far only reconsidered the solo work. When he told me the band was done, I came home and wrote an uh oh sorry fellas email that made things sound kind of final. Because at the time, I thought the band was done, you see. So. If my whacky song partner has the bile and the gall to tell ME to ask them back, I'm going to laugh uproariously and tell him no, this one's on him. --- All right, that's pretty much it. Have a good Friday. ---
