Second Wind Wednesday, May. 19, 2010 - 12:38 a.m. Thud! Hi, folks, I'm here in Anaheim. Old Buddy Dave says howdy. --- The minute we bumped through the door with my stuff, the cats began adoring my lovely black suitcases. When we put them down on the floor, Laila jumped on the small one, laid down, and began projectile shedding. So, basically, yeah. It's normal here. --- In other news, Alan asked me to remove the inferences over on Facebook having to do with the word 'skank'. I was hurting his feelings, you see. When I finished marveling at his nerve, I then went ahead and did what he asked. To have left it would have put me in a bad place akin to a Pyrrhic victory. But wow. Nervy sort of fellow, huh? :-) --- Special thanks to my patient husband John, who drove so carefully in stop and go traffic on Tuesday evening to get me to the airport. And now, the one thing I almost never do -- oh hooray, song lyrics! Omaha Dave, this is for you. The song is called You're Only Human, and the artist is Billy Joel. You're having a hard time and lately you don't feel so good All right, that's it. Have a good Wednesday. ---
