I don't feel like writing anything myself today; instead, here's a Friday Five:

What was your favorite cartoon as a child?

I always enjoyed Bugs Bunny. But I also liked The Pink Panther, and before that, Japanese imports like Astro Boy, Kimba, and Marine Boy.

Do you read comic books? Why or why not?

I didn't as a child. I have as an adult. I enjoyed Elfquest, and years later, I became fairly well-versed in the Studio Proteus titles when I was behind their table. Such good stuff!

Have you read a book and thought it should be turned into a movie? If so, which book?

No. Oddly enough I gravitate to a book after I've seen the movie.

Do you watch cartoons now if you are a teenager/adult?

You bet your ass. Pixar, the Mouse-combooberated Miyazaki features, and Wallace and Gromit.

What is your favorite quote from a television show?

There are those who believe that life here... began out there.
