Sanctuary Friday, Jun. 04, 2010 - 12:00 a.m. Tomorrow I head to band practice for the first time since the first day of May. I think I'm all set to look Alan in the face without reacting too strongly. But only time will tell. --- Mentioned on Metafilter: Amazon is offering a laptop steering wheel desk from Cyberguys! Please do yourselves the biggest favor in the world and check out the customer images. --- A certain former friend of mine who is a former friend due to him choosing to use the phrase 'fucking wetback' has once again recently returned to San Francisco. In the name of all that is sensible, I cannot fathom why. San Francisco is a sanctuary city, which means there is a higher than average probability that any simple labor jobs my former friend is likely to be hired to do will also be chock ablock with people who are not required to prove their citizenship. Some people just seem to find trouble, but there are others who deliberately look for it. --- That's it. Have a good Friday and I'll be back on Monday. ---
