Massy Cree Tuesday, Jun. 22, 2010 - 1:18 a.m. Well, so far this jury service is really rewarding. I have to call in on Tuesday afternoon after closing time. There's a distinct possibility that I won't be needing to go in at all, which will be nice. As of this writing, the monthly pass John got for me for June has amortized to the cost of about seventeen and a half dollars each time I've been on the bus. --- I sat up and watched the Portugal versus North Korea game early yesterday. The Portugese players were all anywhere from six inches to a foot taller than their opponents; many years of malnutrition has even forced the North Korean government to abandon their military height requirement of five and a half feet. And wow, there were North Korean fans in the stands, too! Oh, wait, no they weren't -- just some paid Chinese actors. Portgual 7, North Korea 0. --- There might be some news in the connectivity department pretty soon; I don't want to jinx it, but let's just say the days of bee boo chir chir chir are officially numbered. :) --- All right that's it. Have a good Tuesday! ---
