Mattress Blank Wednesday, Jul. 07, 2010 - 12:55 a.m. Yesterday I was up all night with breathing issues, and John, bless his heart, took Tuesday off so he could stay home and monitor me. I'm okay today, and do not presently sound like an old mattress. --- I noticed something kind of silly a few days back on Amazon. Over in the blank book section, they have about a half a dozen of them available for download to Kindle. This puzzled me, and I asked around and found out from a friend I'll call Hot Skysmith that the data monkeys putting the catalog codes into the Amazon database really don't stop and think about what they're doing; the codes for 'hey, it's okay to download this one to kindle' remain in place. And that's how come you can apparently download blank books. Or something. --- All right, that's it. Kind of a mellow day here. Have a good Wednesday. ---
