In The Sunshine Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 - 12:19 a.m. The weekend was peaceful. John and I managed to make ourselves presentable by late Sunday afternoon, and due to the miracle of the sun being out, we went to Ocean Beach. It's a splendid and peaceful place. Well, most of the time: But up on the sand, past the wall, it just seems like another thing to take a picture of in the sunshine. --- John noticed something about the falling figure in the Mad Men credits. Is it the final scene of the series? And is that falling figure Don Draper? I guess we'll keep tuning in. --- We lost a couple of people over the weekend. Michael Been, who was the lead singer of The Call. And Jack Horkheimer, who always told us to keep looking up. --- That's it. Have a good Monday. ---
