Howdy From Anaheim Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 - 1:08 a.m. Howdy from Anaheim. The flight down was nice, although there was one pocket of turbulence between some cloud layers, as we were descending. Wednesday evening when we were at the drugstore, Dave's cat Laila got into a bag of Circus Animal cookies I'd opened but rolled closed, and stashed under some stuff in my suitcase. She demolished at least two cookies that we could find, and apparently stuck her head in the bag and licked the rest until the dots ran. This happened in under an hour. She was quiet yesterday. --- I converted the strap on my bass down here to one with a strap lock system. I got most of the way through the process, when my hands started to shake. There was a final washer and nut that just wasn't fastening together properly. Finally, I handed it to Old Buddy Dave to see what he could do. Not sure how, but he managed to thread those things. Thanks, Old Buddy! --- Sorry, not a long post. It rained here yesterday and my allergies are up and running, so I'm having to make the classically eternal choice between breathing deeply versus being fully conscious. Things should be okay before the weekend is over. --- That's it. See you Monday! ---
