Look Up Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 - 1:42 a.m. I was recently helping a friend with an exit letter having to do with wrongful termination. We decided that the phrase "fuck the eye sockets of the skull of his burnt corpse" wasn't quite the sentiment that needed to be expressed about the crazy ex-boss, especially since a severance check is due. It didn't disappear until the fourth draft, though. Special thanks to Paul Kidd for the suggestion of that delightfully under-utilized and very therapeutic phrase. --- John's finally on vacation, and we're turned around sleepwise. This is okay, because the weather is shitful and raining and cold and windy anyway, so there's no point in trying to stay awake to enjoy all of that misery. --- In other news, Ooh, go outside and look up tonight! It's a lunar eclipse! Yes, of course we can't see it because of the clouds overhead here in San Francisco! Whee. --- All right, that's it. See you next time. ---
