No Cold Germs Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 - 1:08 a.m. If you are going to visit your family in a few days, but you have a cold? Don't make the trip -- it's rude. I've actually been to shindigs where somebody *after kissing me or shaking my hand or touching the food* has said "I was sick as a dog, but I just HAD to come see everybody!".. um, no, no you don't. Stay home and send non-contagious email, please. I promise to still love you from way over here. Not that I don't love Uncle Petri and Aunt Dish, but I'm not fond of the cold germs they might be transporting. John used to have an immediate boss who would come to work sick, and the following week four of the nine people in the division would be flat on their backs. Oh? You came to work in the interest of proficiency, did you?...No, really? The hell you say! As I recall, somebody over in HR finally told that grot vector to knock it off. --- It's still raining here and day has become night and vice versa. John's on vacation, so it's very easy to let things be a blur. But hey! That's what vacations are for. --- That's it. See you next time. ---
