Sc0tt Hysm1th was in and out of the hospital again for the same fall on the same side on the same set of bones in the space of two years.

This time he had to get at least one pin.

While he was still in the hospital and mercifully full of drugs, he sent a ping out to his homeys, and I was on the list.

"In the hospital room, trying to balance pain management with.. wel.. heck with it. Another shot please and I'll just rest my eyezzzzzz"

I wrote back, and said to Sc0tt, -- who I believe has this color belt and that color belt in various disciplines and has been breaking boards and manipulating a bokken and other assorted sticks and blades and sparring partners for the better part of a decade:

"You know, you should take martial arts. They will teach you how to fall properly."

And he texted back and said:

"Yeah, you would think they'd go over that a time or two by now."

So there we go. The most important part is that he woke up.

Get well soon, humble ginger lobster-san!

I finally settled on a set of luggage that will meet every possible parameter of every possible airline connection I could possibly encounter in my trans global possibilities.

Long story short: There are several airlines involved in my trip, so basically it has come down to me following the most strict weights and measures guidelines among them all.

I've even figured out how to keep all of my electronics out of the main checked bag. Neener.

All right, that's it. See you next time!
