2012 Q&A Thursday, Jan. 03, 2013 - 7:33 a.m. 1. What did you do in 2012 that you had never done before? Appear on Australian radio as an American correspondent. 2. Did you keep your new years resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I hardly ever make them and No. 3. Did anyone close to you give birth? I have no idea. My in-laws never tell us anything. 4. Did anyone close to you die? See above. 5. What countries did you visit? Australia. 6. What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012? Mailbox money from a million selling song / album. 7. What dates from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Mid to late January when I went to the hospital and spent a week and a half being diagnosed with congestive heart failure and hyperthyroidism. 8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Not dying. 9. What was your biggest failure? My heart. 10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yup. 11. What was the best thing you bought? Tie: New teeth and a round trip ticket to Australia. 12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Mine, because I learned how to take my medicine. 13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? That family on television who are famous for basically no good reason with that conniving mother at the helm. 14. Where did most of your money go? Australia and into my mouth. 15. What did you get really excited about? My health improvements. My shaking hands ceasing to shake so that I can draw and letter again. 16. What song will always remind you of 2012? - Further Higher by Robb Murphy 17. Compared to this time last year, are you: Happier or sadder? 18. What do you wish you had done more of? Playing with nail polish 19. What do you wish you had done less of? Menstruating. I take anticoagulants now and boy oh boy does the dam ever bust these days! 20. How did you spend Christmas? Being sick. 21. Did you fall in love in 2012? No, but I still love the people I love. 22. What was your favorite TV program? Jonathan Creek 23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No, I still avoid pretty much the same bunch of knuckleheads as I ever did. 24. What was the best book you read? Cyanide & Happiness! 25. What was your greatest musical discovery? Robb Murphy (Take A Stand) 26. What did you want and get? A reprieve and an extension on my life. 27. What did you want and not get? Smaller breasts even though I lost weight. Sigh. 28. What was your favorite film of this year? I haven't seen any films from this year. I did see some films from other years for the first time in 2012. "Paul" and "The Stone Of Destiny" are recent faves. 29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I helped Paul Kidd win a prize in the 2012 Swancon Masquerade. And age? What am I, a car? Smeg off. 30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? More legal rulings in favor of the victims of the fradulent online activity known as Muchausen By Internet. 31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012? Classic neutrals. Jeans and a black shirt is never a fail. 32. What kept you sane? Absolutely nothing. 33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Celebs & public figures are already fancy. They do not need my help. 34. What political issue stirred you the most? The election. 35. Who did you miss? Dad. Still. 36. Who was the best new person you met?
