There Went June, Too Tuesday, Jul. 15, 2014 - 5:29 p.m. I had my final wisdom tooth removed on June 27th. I opted NOT to have general anesthesia due to my cardiac history. I took a local instead. Ladies and gentleman, let me assure you that this was a certifiable thing to have done. Yes, I'm still alive, but chances are extremely good that I would most certainly have survived the jump cut from being knocked completely out. If you are even remotely considering staying awake for wisdom tooth extraction -- please rest assured that you will never forget the experience. Mind you, disclaimer disclaimer disclaimer, this is NOT medical advice. If you don't like pain, and you are in optimum health, choose the jump cut. --- Sometime this week, for the first time in four years, I'll be heading out to my local hair place to get it cut. I'm letting it grow out for a Velma Dinkley bob and I don't have enough patience or expertise to cut this shape into my own hair. Learning to self-inject when I had to give myself Lasix in the hospital a couple of years ago was easier than cutting my own hair. Hopefully this won't be a case of paying a stranger to mutiliate me. Wish me luck. --- Something else is in the works, too. I'll tell you at the end of the month. Stay tuned! ---
