Fanime Con / Jamie Thursday, Jun. 19, 2003 - 5:19 p.m. Well. My preparations for Fanime Con are nearly complete. I'm the lady who sits in the Studio Proteus booth and sells translated Japanese comic books. And no, I do not translate the work. Smebody else does that, thank goddess. I enjoy it every year, but the staff of Fanime Con, bless their hearts, keeps reinventing the wheel when it comes to administrative details. These things have been done already, by very competent people who have run dealer's rooms at conventions for years. Dear Fanime Con staff: Have you asked for help from those people? Has it occurred to you that this has been done before? Why isn't the load-in dock clearly indicated on the map you put on the website? Where do we go?... ... Oh well. I have a couple more hours of work to do before I'm ready, so I'll worry about it then.:-) grrr. --- In other news, Jamie's package arrived! It's got candy in it, plus two containers of Nescafe' Butterfinger Frothe' Mmmmm... and a Movie Date DVD -- "The Others" with Nicole Kidman... plus a couple of CDs, and some of the cutest candles I've seen in a very long time!... THANK YOU.:) I love you! ---
