When was the last time you cheated?

A: Early this morning when I peeked at the answers to the AOL crossword.

When was the last time you stole?

A: I don't remember. Probably the last time I ate all of something I was supposed to have shared with John.

When was the last time you lied?

A: Last night, but it was an accident. I was very cranky, and bone tired, but I told John it was okay and that I would go ahead and cook dinner. I honestly thought I was too drag-assed, and I even had John do all of the cutting work where a knife was needed, but I went ahead and cooked dinner anyway. It turned out to be low blood sugar and I felt better, though.

When was the last time you broke or vandalized another's property?

A: A couple of months ago, when I dropped this keyboard and the spacebar popped off. It's back on, but it's dicey. I have to get a new one pretty soon.

When was the last time you hurt a loved one?

A: When was the last time? Deliberately? I've no idea. I have this nagging feeling that I probably do it every day, but my loved ones aren't actually telling me when I do it, because... well... they're my loved ones.
