Fall & Wellbucks Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004 - 9:53 a.m. It finally feels like autumn here in San Francisco -- the leaves have not begun to turn yet, but the air is getting that sense to it, like the world is about to tuck itself in and watch a good movie before going to sleep. --- Today, Keane is in Mexico City. And in two days, they will be doing an instore in Philadelphia. I bought a promotional DVD of theirs from somebody on eBay; it was released in Asia and it's region-free, which means it will work in any DVD player. I can't figure out why *all* DVDs aren't region-free. Sigh. --- And now, a strange sighting.... Wells Fargo Bank and Starbucks. Together at last. Just what the world needed. I do not know if this hybridized temple of consumerism exists anywhere else in the world; if your area has also been beset by the Wellbucks monster, let me know. :-) ---
