Thirty Eight Fingers 2003-04-07 - 1:57 a.m. Today is my thirty-eighth birthday. There are still some things I would like to have happen by the time I'm forty: 1. Travel east. Preferably by train because I've lived here all my life and never even seen the country. 2. Play Myra Bruhl on stage. Or maybe participate in a radio play of DEATHTRAP. She's one of my favorite characters. 3. [This one has been deleted. But trust me, it was good. And I'm still going to do it.] 4. Get jet lag. 5. Re-learn to read music. 6. Put enough material together for at least an EP CD. Jamie says he likes my work, and Brian said that too. 7. Attempt some open mike stand-up comedy. 8. Go back to Banff Springs, Alberta. It's just too pretty up there. There's more stuff, but not right now. Happy birthday to me. And Jackie Chan and Wayne Rogers and Bill Bellamy and Ravi Shankar and Francis Ford Coppola and David Frost and Russell Crowe. Being on this side of the dirt is a good thing. ---
