Domestic Boxes Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 - 12:11 a.m. Today, Saturday, I plan to tackle domestic things. Mostly taking unassembled things out of boxes and assembling them. Over in my music corner, there's a lot of unused space under the support rack that holds my Yamaha keyboard. Since I switched from a sitting to a standing workstation, I thought it would be a good idea to buy a pair of bedside nightstands to put together and place under the keyboard, instead of the large metal X rack that's there now. I thought this was a really good idea when I bought the unassembled nightstands back in whatever it was. February? March?... So it's time to get this stuff dealt with. It's just that the boxes are so darn inocuous it's incredibly easy to just leave things alone and walk past them. They fit in the hallway and are the same color as the shelves they're sitting next to. But -- it's got to get done. And I want to find out once and for all if the drawers in these nightstands are, as I suspect, -smaller- than 8.5 x 11 inches. Bulletins as events warrant. Wish me luck. I'll try and take pictures. --- Please read yesterday's post, if this one was too boring. :-) Hope you're having a nice weekend, whatever you're up to. ---
